Today was my last day in hanoi. I woke up at my hostel, got everything organized, and reached out to some of my friends from the ha giang loop to make some plans. We decided that a spa day was an necessity. I went out and got some lunch, one more bahn mi, and an egg coffee. 2 staples in Vietnam and hanoi. I decided for my last night I wanted a nice hotel just so I could decompress. This was only gonna cost me 35USD, so it seemed like an easy decision. I wouldn't got checked in early drop my bags, and then headed out to the spot. This is the same spot that I have gone to multiple times now and the workers are always friendly and recognize me. They were thrilled to see that I brought 4 new friends along to get treatments. I decided on a hot stone massage and an hour long Hair washing and head massage. It was phenom a little. After this, we decided we wanted to get tattoos. Something to signify our time in Vietnam and the incredible adventures we have had. We got checked in at the parlor, discussed our ideas with the artist And settled on a Lotus flower for me. This is the national flower of Vietnam. They said it was gonna take a couple hours before they could get us in so we wanted the street and sat down and got some delicious food. The owner of the shop spoke 0 English. So we just pointed at the table next to us to signify what we wanted. It was delicious. Even though we had no good what we were eating. We went and grabbed some beers and then headed back to get our tattoos. After this there is one more thing on my hanoi bucket list, that was the famous train street. Here, a local has to sneak you in and take you to one of their bars or coffee shops as it is guarded by the police. We sat down, got some beers, and watched as the train zoom in not more than a foot away from us. It really was incredible. Then we hit the town and went out to be your street. Some of our other friends from the loop reached out and said they were in town so they came and met up with us. It was a wonderful reunion of people I didn't think I'd get the chance to see again. I really enjoyed hanoi. The people I met here will have a place in my heart forever. Now to catch an early flight back to Bali. And to the island that has made such a significant impact on me.
