My first full day in Bali! I will admit it, I was a tidge overserved last night so today was very lowkey. Last night I joined the hostel for their pub crawl. We checked out a couple bars and I hung with my new friends Kasey, an Australian girl, Chelsea from Scotland, and Kaitlin, a British gal. Kasey was great and pulled me into their group right away but they had to leave this morning. So we bopped to a few bars and ended the night dancing on the beaches of Canggu as the waves washed up over us. It was honestly so much fun but it made it hard to do things today. Instead, I ended up laying by the hostel pool all day long reading and recovering. This was a great way to spend the day though because I got to eat lots of good food from the café and just be in my own zone. I made a new friend named cam whos an artist from Montreal and we decided to wander to Pererenan beach to get dinner and check out the sunset. Taking it easy tonight as tomorrow I have treated myself to a full spa day at a gorgeous location in Seminyak. When traveling it is important to have chill days though. If you go go go every day all day you’ll burn out. So this was a perfect way to spend my day. Bali is lovely, the people are super fun, I can’t wait for more adventures.
